Sequoia SubLab Beta

Here is the download link to the beta of SubLab for Sequoia:

This version includes the following:

  1. Fixed a crash that was happening when launching the plugin.
  2. The audio engine was not working in Standalone mode, which meant you had no sound and presets did not change.
  3. AAX is now included and is build for Apple Silicone and tested in the latest Protools 2024.6.0

Have you got a crash report @Aleko?

Also can you check if the Audio Unit, VST and VST3 are having the same issue?

The beta installer in the new link isn’t working for me either. Both standalone and AU plugin (Logic) are crashing on MacOS Sequoia 15.0.1.

just saw this, downloading now. will check the AU in logic asap.

EDIT: opens! and all seems ok. glad to have this back, thanks :+1:

Sublab is definitely still crashing for me. Which MacOS version are you on? I have Sequoia 15.0.1 with an M3.

sequoia 15.2 beta, and an M2; logic 11.0.1. (i never tried the standalone)…

you installed over the previous version? rebooted? had to authorize and launch the new install? you may want to uninstall, start clean…

Yeah, I installed over the previous version. I tried deleting everything and rebooting but got the same errors. Is there an uninstaller?

Hey guys,

Will check here and try and see what is up, one thing that would be great is if you have any crash reports. That would really help in tracking things down.

Thanks for the help,
Gavin.

@Gavin_FAW How can I share the crash report? It’s too long to post here.

@sublabscientist, we’ve just uploaded a fix…check the latest link at the top of the thread, beta3!

If it is still crash let me know and I’ll pm you my direct email address :+1:

didn’t work for me mate, it’s so frustrating cause I can’t even open old projects that I want to mix cause I have used Sublab in those tracks and it keeps crashing bruhh

what DAW? did you try uninstalling-reinstalling? anyway FAW support should help…

This Beta doesn’t work :frowning:

Not working on 15.0.1 (24A348) [Intel - MacBook Pro 2019].

The post-install login loop bug persists.

Can you add a beta verbose mode so we can submit logs to help speed up the fix for Sequoia?

BUG EXAMPLE:
[After installing and entering the correct login info: Shows the launch button to use but you can not click to move forward.]

Console Log warnings:

-[TUINSCursorUIController activate:]: JUCEView_77576ae12d934cda doesn’t conform to NSTextInputClient protocol.

Update:
I Installed beta version 2 which allowed me to get passed the login screen on an Intel-based Sequoia [Macbook Pro late 2019].

However after the update on either beta 2 or beta 3 still no audio playback and presets are all greyed out. When adding and reimporting a preset it stays as “New Preset” as the chosen preset ui-selection regardless of selection.
