Ok, that is not meant to happen. Is it possible that you have a 32 bit processor? Or that you have your DAW open while installing?

Thanks,
Gavin.

How to See if Your Mac’s Processor is 32-bit or 64-bit

To see if your Mac’s processor is 32-bit or 64-bit, go to the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. Below the operating system version and computer model name you’ll see your processor.

If the processor is an Intel Core Solo or Intel Core Duo, it’s 32-bit only. Here are the 64-bit Intel processors Apple has used in the Mac:

  • Core 2 Duo
  • **Dual-core Xeon. (**This what I have)
  • Quad-core Xeon
  • Core i3
  • Core i5
  • Core i7

Ok, from read I think the Dual core Xeon is 32 bit. I think you have installed the beta version, which is currently supporting 64-Bit Intel and M1 only.

We’re releasing the 32 Bit installer soon so hang in there ( early next week is looking like when we will have it ready ).

Gavin.
