SubLab won't load into saved FL Projects

I’ve been trying for close to an hour to add SubLab to some projects I’ve been working on recently. The interface will not load and I have no way to make adjustments to the stock sound. The GUI loads about 20% of the plugin and then FL just freezes.

If I start a new project SubLab opens without issue.

I’m using the latest version of FL Studio 20.7,2 on a Windows 10 system with the latest updates.

This is the only plugin I’ve ever had cause this issue.

The problem continued so I rebuilt my template in a new FLP and SubLab loaded normally.
