I’m getting a big click sound very often with Sublab XL. For example, in the preset m808g, no matter what changes I make to the settings such as attack, fade in, cross fade, changing the loop point etc - the click sound still happens, and whats strange is it happens sporadically on different notes each time. Can anyone help me with this? I’ve seen this issue pop up elsewhere in the forum but any suggestions I’ve seen are not helping. It kind of feels like its a glitch / bug.
It shouldn’t be clicking…can you send me your settings file…it is located in settings.xml inside /FAW/SubLabXL
We added a lot of settings for people who wanted different behavior and it might be that you have a setting that is causing in your situation a click. Hang in there and we’ll help you out.
Okay I think I’ve found the file but it is not letting me upload here as it says I can’t upload .xml files on this forum. I’ll just copy and paste below what is in the file when I open it up as a document

Actually now when I click on the settings file it has this below… Also, just to be clear, what exactly within this will help get rid of the clicking sound? Can you please explain a bit further. Thanks for your help.

I get what’s happening…its not allowing you to paste the code because it is possibly xml which is being flagged as possibly malicious…
Don’t worry about it, I know what you are on about…I think its about time that I spent a few hours and explained exact what the different settings are on the Settings → Audio Page…I’ll do an annotated image hopefully tomorrow, worst case by the end of the week.
In the meantime…this is what I would set so as to have no clicks…

On a sidenote, is there any update on getting the Sublab packs to work in Sublab XL. I have been trying to contact Julia about it who said she was going to sort it but I am no longer getting any reply from her.
