having trouble getting vet to work in my Akai 2.10 program
Hi there
You should be able to load SubLab in your MPC software however no 3rd party plugins work in MPC standalone. There is a way around this if you want to use sounds from SubLab when you’re using MPC as a standalone.
- First, check that SubLab is installed correctly in the following locations:
macOS: …/Library/ApplicationSupport/FAW/ SubLab
PC: C:/ProgramFiles/FAW/ SubLab
And at least one of the following:
macOS: …/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ SubLab.component
macOS: …/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/ SubLab.vst
macOS: …/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ SubLab.vst3
PC: C:/Program Files/ VSTPlugins
PC: C:/Program Files/ Common Files\VST3
PC: C:/Program Files (x86)/ VSTPlugins
-
Next, in the MPC software, check that the program is pointing to the correct location to find SubLab’s program files. To do this, open your Preferences menu and choose the Plugins tab.
-
Make sure that MPC software is looking in the correct location for your SubLab files - you may need to add the file path.
-
Quit your MPC software and then launch it again.
