We’ll update the macOS link in the morning - sorry about that!

Great.. looking forward to it..

@SubLabXL-Beta-Tester macOS download link is working now!

Thanks.. are they very different build numbers?

ok installed and reimported the two banks mentioned previously (one of your from sublab and one of mine).

Moonlight from yours matches close enough that I can work with.

Mine however, the tone is there, but the release envelope even though it shows the same parameters sublab and XL,the XL one sounds like the release is shorter..

The first is sublab, second xl

Also the Windows install reset my interface size.

@Julia Thanks for the update, giving it a go! Would you also be able to unpin/archive older SubLab XL beta threads (like the initial “Sequoia” announcement) so it’s easier to find the newest version?

Hi @Julia!

I’ve installed SubLab XL v1.0.5.

No problems on my system.

I’m using it inside my DAW (FL Studio v21), on Windows 11 v25H2.

However, the option to load multiple sound packs, at once, inside SubLab XL still does not work.

Seems I still have issues with this beta. FL studio or bitwig, same issue.

  • fix: distortion making a pitched tone

Specifically it seems the distortion / overdrive flavor is giving me a high pitched sound, and the presets using it have this as soon as they are selected (for example Start a Riot and Rowdy Pipes and Where my Rocketship?, in hits DNA II. I tried installing 1.0.4 latest beta = no high pitched tone.

Have you tried the latest version, are you on macOS or PC?

Gavin.

Hi Gavin,

I’m on PC. I just tried this link and no, same issue. It’s like everything is working fine except distortion → overdrive. For reference see video Watch 2025-12-17 21-33-24 | Streamable and image with version number attached.

That looks like a previous version in your screenshot - the build date is December 6. This new version is December 11. Could you try to install again?

Please delete any older installers you may have in your downloads folder or desktop, download a fresh installer, and make sure to quit your DAW before running the installer. Then reboot your PC when install is completed and check the date after that. Let us know :folded_hands:

@Julia I was about to say the same…but not sure why it didn’t overwrite that version.

If they have older installers in downloads / cache it could be pulling that up instead of the new one. But we can double check on our side as well.

Thank you for the suggestions. I tried reinstalling (I also went into my VST3 folder and fully deleted the sublab XL files.) When it installs it again, the date still ends up December 6.

It seems beta 1 and 2 links shares the same build number 111225, could that have to do with it?

Rebooted and reinstalled now, still date is December 6.

Also for reference, I installed and checked both the VST3 and the dll/vst2 version, both have date of December 6. Hope this helps
