Sublab In Maschine

Sublab Says Error Loading In Maschine But I Can Hear Presets…plz help

Hey @BIGHITCH,

What version of Maschine are you using? I’m here to help

Thanks,
Gavin.

maschine 2 mk1 controller windows 7

Can you help me Please Gavin?

Windows 7 should work ok, and we also have both 32bit and 64bit versions of SubLab that get placed on your hard disk.

Have you tried loading up SubLab in another DAW? That could narrow things down a bit for us.

I only have sonar producer x 3
and Maschine 2

I am having the same issue. I can hear the sounds in presets in maschine But they will not load. It does work in my other DAWS (pro tools and Abelton live suite 10) Kind of frustrating please let me know what I can do to make this work. I am using the maschine MK3

I’m having the same problem im using the latest version of maschine and windows 10

Ok guys, let me have a look here and I’ll get back.

Gavin.

i cant open R2R please help me

Hi FAW team,

Just bought sublab on plugin boutique, but got same problems. I could hear presets but unable to load it.

Need your help, thanks in advance.

PS: new into music production, using windows, maschine and sublab v1.1.3

Joe

It should work fine out the blocks in Maschine.

What version of Maschine are you using?

Gavin.

Gavin,

Just updated to maschine version 2.11, still same problems.
Thanks.

Joe

It’s December 29, 2020 and I’m having the same issue. I can’t seem to find the fix anywhere. I have the latest versions of everything: Maschine, Komplete Kontrol, Ableton Live 10 Suite. SubLab works just fine in a the DAW. But it simply will not load with Native Instruments software. Gavin, it seems you’ve been hearing about this issue a lot. I get that “it should work fine”, but it doesn’t. Not just CAN you help, but WILL you help correct this ongoing problem? Thanks. SubLab is hella dope. This is a shame.

Same issue I am having too. I can scroll through the preset and hear them while scrolling on my Maschine MK3 and my Komplete Kontact S49. They are also viewable on both units but, Maschine daw always says it cannot be loaded. Studio One 5, I dont have this issue at all. Just a simple drag onto track and the GUI opens right up. I added every possible folder for plug-ins too.

Ok i figured it out… I think. mine works now and what i did was reinstalled it and it automatically wants the vst files to all go into COMMON FILES… Create a designated file or use a preexisting one in your docs or wherever you want, NAme it thirdparty vsts or something and put all those in there and make sure you link maschine to scan that folder for VST’s … hope this helps for you . lmk.

also anyone elses icon not appear on the sublab exe? fixed that too if you need help

@RichSounds I think what is happening here is that we have in our NKS a fixed path to the plugins, but then during installation you can change where the VSTs end up.

Let me get in contact with the NKS team and see if there is a way for Machine to know where your custom instal path is…

Thanks,
Gavin.

Hi, I got the same issue here.

I realize that almost every person who talk about this problem are on Windows.

Did you @Gavin_FAW test Sublab NKS on windows devices ? or just on mac ? Windows is always messy when we talk about directory path. To be fair I have the feeling that its Maschine who struggle to recognize Sublab vst. He reconginze the NKS file and preset, but when it comes with the VST he is totally lost.

I got the same issue with Drumline from Spitfire, and I struggle to find an answer

PROBLEM SOLVED

Maschine is dumb dumb. You need to install Sublab, inside Native Instruments VST folder, in my case it was ;

C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 bit

Ok, good catch Chaff!

I’m going to see if it possible to have NKS install in this folder by default.

Thanks,
Gavin.
