Just starting a thread here for people who are experiencing crashes in Logic 10.5 with the latest version.
Can you reply to this thread with the following information:
What is the full version number displayed on the about page SubLab. To check, just click “sublab” in the top left hand corner and note the full version number that is displayed including the date.
What buffer size and sample rate are you using in Logic 10.5
Do you have a crash report from Logic X? To check if you have, follow the details at the link below:
When I create a new track using SubLab it works good but whenever I close logic or my computer and reopen it, all of the audio from my SubLab track dissappears.
macOS version is 10.15.5 Catalina and Logic X version is 10.5.1
@easy_ebreezy, I think I have found what is causing the issue.
Can you create a new project in Logic X and instead of selecting SubLab -> Mono, select SubLab -> Stereo from the list. Let me know if selecting stereo fixes the crash.
Some projects “quit unexpectedly” upon opening, other projects open but when I attempt to play a note using the sublab it crashes all audio and a click/pop can be heard.
macOS Catalina, 10.15.6
Last week Logic was giving me a message that located Sublab as the issue, now it just gives me the ‘Logic Pro X quit unexpectedly’ message.
Been working through it here and I can recreate it which is a great start. Seems that some noise is coming from the distortion when you play the first note.
I just opened up a a new project and created a new SubLab track in stereo with no issues. However, when I switch over to the mono version, as soon as I attempt to play a note on my midi keyboard, all audio cuts out. When I delete the track, my computer audio comes back.
We’ve got a version of SubLab with a fix for the dropped audio in Logic, if you want to download the version at the link below…let me know if it fixes the issue, that would really help.
