Welcome to the FAW community forum, it’s great to have you here!
The developers and support team are all on the forum to try our best to resolve any issues that come up. In order to keep this forum running smoothly, we’ve put together some guidelines.
How to Get the Best Support
Let’s make this a great place for everyone in our FAW community.
Help us help you by always including the following when you make a new post:
- Your operating system
- Your DAW
- Your exact plugin version
- A clear and concise description of the issue
- Any steps to reproduce the problem
- Screenshots, videos, or audio examples when possible (if you can’t upload them, send a google drive link or message support@futureaudioworkshop.com)
Before submitting:
- Review your post to ensure all information is relevant and specific to the issue
- Avoid vague descriptions like “it doesn’t work”
- Please allow time for replies — public holidays and weekends can affect response times
Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree
Disagreement is fine — disrespect is not. Please remember to criticize ideas, not people.
We do not allow:
- Name-calling
- Personal attacks
- Responding to tone instead of substance
- Knee-jerk contradiction
Instead, offer thoughtful, constructive counter-points that help move the conversation forward.
Always Be Civil
Nothing damages a support community faster than hostility:
- Be respectful at all times
- No offensive, abusive, or hateful content
- No harassment, impersonation, or sharing of private information
- No spam, advertising, or malicious behavior
- No obscene or sexually explicit material
If you’re unsure whether something is appropriate to post, ask yourself:
“Would I be comfortable seeing this quoted publicly?”
This is a public forum indexed by search engines — please keep all content safe and courteous.
Keep the Forum Tidy
Good organization helps everyone get faster, more accurate support:
- Post in the correct category
- Do not cross-post the same issue in multiple topics
- Avoid no-content replies (e.g., “same” or “any update?”)
- Stay on topic — don’t derail threads
- You don’t need to sign your posts (your profile is already attached)
Important:
Do not revive old threads if your setup differs from the original post (different OS, DAW, plugin version, etc.). Instead, create a new topic with your current system details so that we can help you by assessing your specific setup.
Auto-Closed Topics
Inactive topics are automatically closed after a period of time to keep threads and information current. If your issue is similar to an inactive thread, open a new topic with your system details.
Our Goal
These guidelines exist to:
- Provide efficient support
- Protect a respectful tone and comfortable community
- Prevent confusion from outdated threads
- Ensure everyone gets fair and accurate help
Thank you for being part of the FAW community, and thank you for helping us keep this community open and respectful for everyone.
