Can anyone here suggest what the hell I'm supposed to do about the FAW plugins I purchased from Pluginboutique?

I’m about the lose my mind and I don’t know what to do at this point… With the exception of Notes, I’ve purchased all the other FAW plugins from pluginboutique, and over the most few months, I’m discovering that every single supposed update through them is either wrong or just straight up broken.

According to my pluginboutique account, the newest version of Sublab XL is 1.1.5 (which I’m quite certain doesn’t exist) and clicking on the link just sends me back to Pluginboutique’s home page. So there’s no way to update my copy of that through their site, since the only functioning download is for v1.0.4.

Then there’s the original Sublab, which was listed as v1.1.9 when I bought it, but now it’s saying the most current version is v1.1.8, and clicking on that link downloads what appears to be an installer for v1.0.9, so I have absolutely ZERO clue what the actual most-recent version of Sublab is supposed to be.

And they also have a completely different installer for Circle2 than the one you can get from FAW. The version numbers are the same, but the FAW installer says it’s compatible with Apple silicon plus some other minor additions, whereas the Pluginboutique installer doesn’t seem to include any of that.

So right now, every FAW plugin that I purchased from pluginboutique can’t be updated because pluginboutique isn’t providing any way to keep the plugins up-to-date; they’re labeling updates with version numbers that don’t exist and download links that don’t work, and from my experience, they don’t seem to be interested in fixing that. I don’t know what’s going on here, or which party is responsible for all this, but this is pretty embarrassing. I shouldn’t have to jump through all these hoops to a) try and figure out what the actual most current version of any of the plugins are and b) to try and obtain a proper, functioning installer for all of those plugins. Ive never struggled so hard to just to figure out what the latest version of any given plugin is, in addition to the amount of effort I’ve spent all day today trying to figure out how I’m supposed to update my plugins, with zero success, and zero confidence that the problem will get fixed.

Edit: the more I look into this, the closer I am to having a full on panic attack and just deleting all my FAW plugins. What is the most current version of Circle2 supposed to be? Depending on which link you click on the FAW site, you end up with two two different Mac installers for Circle2: one is “Circle2-Installer-v2.2.1-macOS-M1-Sequoia-Beta1-setup.dmg” and the other one, which is the same file that pluginboutique provides, is “Circle2-Installer-v2.2.1-RC2-setup.dmg” There is absolutely no information provided anywhere that I can find to try and figure which of these, if any, is the proper installer. And I’m so frustrated right now I can’t think clearly enough to try and decipher the most current version by reading through the threads on this forum.

Hey @betamax999

Firstly, we’re here to help!

So for the latest builds, @Julia has been onto Plugin Boutique loads of times about this and they are having issues.

We’re struggling with it, but give us 30 minutes and we’ll get with explaination

Hey @betamax999 I’m so sorry for the frustration and I’m very disappointed to hear that the difficulty with the installers on Plugin Boutique is still going on….

I’ve contacted them numerous times to check and double check that they have the latest installers available and that everything is working. I know they were having some technical issues a while ago but I was assured that was fixed…

Because of this, I’ve started posting and pinning the latest installers on our forum here:

I’m going to get in touch with Plugin Boutique again and try to see what’s going on…
