Separate file for midi saves

  1. Add a separate file for MIDI saves; right now, it’s being saved in the same file as the sample. I can easily delete the sample by accident.
  2. Is there a way to delete my custom chords?
  3. When making custom chords, it sounds different when played; the chords do not sound like in the chord edit window
  4. When generating new chords, the notes get higher with every generation; add a minimal movement option.

First, great to have you on board!

  1. On saving the midi, right now when can drag the midi out by dragging the this icon…I agree though that we need to icon in more places and also maybe have a “save as” also for the midi file.

  1. For deleting chords, we released the chord edit panel without adding too much functionality and are waiting for feedback like your giving before piling on the features. Deleting chords is on the list for the next update!

  2. This might be down to the fact that the chords are using the session key when you load them for playing. Let me look into how best this should work.

  3. Do you mean when you roll the dice on the chord edit panel, the chords shift up an octave?

Really appreciated you taking the time to give feedback, we really want to make Notes a go-to so this helps us a lot!

Gavin, I have music stored on my PC, I don’t want note files stored where my music is. I’m using that music to create the chords.
Add a separate file for that. I made a video showing the problem
