How to cut the 808 tail at the end of a pattern

Hi,
I love Sub Lab, but I cant seem to cut off the 808s at the end of the pattern without rendering the pattern and cutting the rendered wave. I am using FL studio 20+. Basically, I cannot stop the tail from bleeding when I want to. I usually place an 808 not with zero volume and rely on the cut-self feature to stop the 808 from playing into the next space at the end of a chorus or stanza or at a pause in the song. However, the vst does not perform the stop for me. Is there a setting to accomplish this or a work around?

Nope, I recorded the wave and cut it

Ok guys, have you made sure that all the envelopes are finished?

How Sublab works is that it looks at all the envelopes and then once all of them are done, it will stop running.

Let me know if this is clear?
