Hey everyone,

Thanks for holding on! We’ve been working away and are very close to having a release ready version of Circle 2.1.

Beta 3 is live now, please put it through its paces and let us know if you find any bugs along the way. The main changes in this version are important under the hood stability improvements alongside a replacement of all internal windows.
Hopefully we’re pretty much release ready now.

Changelog:

  • Fixed pitch of feedback module
  • Various crash fixes and stability improvements.
  • All internal windows redesigned and made non-modal.
  • Merged Windows 32 / 64-bit into single installer.
  • Added full demo restrictions to intro text.
  • Enabled 32bit Mac.
  • Preset load time optimisation.
  • GUI open time.
  • Added new factory bank and extra presets.
  • Increased demo noise level slightly, it was too low and people were mistaking it for a low hiss bug.

This is getting beautiful. Love the new presets.

Thanks for the update.

*The feedback module is still broken. It seems to feedback at a rate of 200~300 ms. Tune button doesn’t do a thing. This is with and without the keyboard pitch modulation (VST2, x64)

Just a quick test, will go on later, but let me say that new presets are sooo good!

Just updated the package installer so that it put the standalone in /Application root folder

maybe I found a bug,
I have a bass patch, and when I play “too” fast I get sound drop outs.
I can repeat this.
When I play slow everything is fine.
I have 16 voices and 3 voices detune on. but I play only 1 voice at a time.

And just a question,
should we make some presets? Where should we send them?

Thanks for the report, could you upload the offending preset so we can check it out? The new, and hopefully final beta will be here today, we’ve been tweaking the audio engine so with any luck this has been resolved.
