Ohh, it is there in 1.13 too and does three octaves.
Nice and thanks

Hi,âŠOf course feel free to ignore :), but I still would like to request a more flexible global octave transposeâŠ
the FL thing does work better, but on my NI KKS61mk2 the lowest two octaves are âwastedâ, and on my NI M32, the lower octave is also âwastedâ, so for me 2 octaves transpose was perfect⊠I imagine for other they may have different perfect ranges. so yes I would still like to suggest for consideration a more flexible global transpose.
thanks

Plus 1 for Global Micro-tuning! I love to experiment with different tunings, so this would make SubLab a staple for all my varied projects, and not just strictly on 440Hz works. I know for me, I get into habits with work flow, and I have actually forgotten I own Sublab because it lacks this feature. My guess is that Iâm not alone here! Its a great niche synth, and I would love to see it really take off as it evolves with the needs of modern experimental producers.
Yes! we hear you @MrSpheres!
Can you please allow users to lock the volume release time?
I usually have to adjust it for all the presets while browsing and itâs time consuming.
Thank you very much!
Use case:
- I sometimes put some effects on the mid-high parts of a bass while I want to keep the lower parts untouched
What I think I want:
If I had 3 output channels for the three main modules (synth, sample, x-sub) I could craft these however I want, and you also would not need much effort to implement them.
Guys just being straight, 2+ years of talk about adding customizable pitchbend ± SubLab would be a MONSTER with MPE keyboards like the Seaboard, but it remains unusable in this way. Even beyond MPE, shouldnât we have customizable pitchbend anyways?
Thank you.
Needed Features:
-
Ability to audition imported samples in the browser window. When choosing import we need the ability to autoplay and/or manually play each sample in the browser window the way FLStudio does it when you browse for a sample using the pattern/sequencer pads. Also Sublab needs to remember the location of most recent sample added. Currently sample import is pain. I canât audition sounds and if you close the browser you have to start all over locating your sample libraries. Also once you add a sample to the sampler, we need a previous/next arrow which enable us to browse the entire folder of samples. The browser doesnât save/remember sample location this is frustrating for non FLStudio users. If you choose import add a sample then decide you want to try a different sample you have to go through multiple folders to get to the same location again that is frustrating and time consuming. THIS ONE IS VERY IMPORTANT for NON-FLSTUDIO USERS. FLstudio users can audition samples from the side panel they donât have this issues but not everyone is FL users. Trying to find the perfect kick to add to a sub is not easy when I canât audition the kick until I import it. After importing if I donât like the chosen kick I have to go through dozens of folders to chose another kick this is a task.

Separate output routing for each samples so we can process the Subs and Kicks separately outside of Sublab for more Precision and Mastering. Need more control over each elements
currently we can only process the subs and kick as 1 entity. We need separation so we can add our own fx in our Daws. -
Add a Browser window on the right side that can be toggle/hidden. For someone who has 100s of samples and want the ability to add my own kicks I can use the browser window. Also you can add Favorites. Fxpansion Geist you can add sample folders to Favorites. Favorites folder Feature would be nice so we can add our most used sample library folders. Also the ability to create our own folder within Sublab browser to keep things organized.
-
Ability to Export our created sample as a WAV file with a option window for 16/24/32 bit depth. Dragging a file to DAW to then export is time consuming. Add a export feature within Sublab more for convenience.
Some good ones here @BassHead2k2
Are you a sound designer or just a producer?
Not a sound designer a producer. I just need to get right into production. I am too impatient to design sounds. I just need something that is fast I can go go go. sorry for the late response. Trying to load my samples is a hassle I need to audition the kick to mix with the sub or vice versa. You guys can add the browser window to the right with a toggle/hidden button to make it compact. This window is so we can add favorite folders and HDD for fast access and sound auditioning. Sublab needs to remember current location of samples added so the process wont be so painful.
My currently Drum vst is Fxpansion Geist, FLStudio pattern sequencer is beast but I donât feel like doing all that rewiring did that in the past so for now I use Geist but if Sublab get those features i can put geist on the back burner. The flexibility geist gives me to audition my samples before I use them is similar to Flstudio browser window. This feature is so convenient and I can add my HDD or folders to my favorites which saves time. I need a specific drum kit I know the folder I want to use it is right there in my favorite or atleast the HDD is. I just click I am already audition sounds because Geist browser has autoplay/manual play I can audition the samples to know the exact one I want. Sublab is great if you guys incorporate those features I listed it is GAME OVER. Sublab just need the browser window, ability to add favorite folders and HDD and the ability to audition samples within the browser window. You guys add these and it is literally game over. Sublab is great at what it does but the potential is so much bigger. Beyond just a 808 software it can be a full on sample player/808 generator. Donât do touch much and complicate things just add useful features that make workload easier. Currently the sample auditioning and favorite folder is a MUST. I really hope you guys can incorporate something. Us Non FL Users is struggling over here lol. I had Sublab for almost a week now and It is a joy to use I just wish I was able to add my Kicks from the kits I have and mix then with the subs to get the Thump I want. To make myself more clear when I say audition sounds in the browser window, I am talking about when you hit the Import and try to locate the sample. Find the folder with the samples you want to check out then realize oh yeah I canât play the samples to hear the kicks to choose a good one that fits the sub I am working with. So now I have to load up Geist go to my favorite folders do the audition there then close geist go back to Sublab then go to 5 steps to get back to that folder to add the sample. See how much work that is just to hear 1 kick. It is a HASSLE, You guys can either add the audition feature in a browser window like Flstudio or Geist or you can add it when you hit import. Open FLstudio you see the play icon and autoplay which is HUGE for producers and anyone working with audio. To sum it all up keep things simple just add those useful features so production can be smoother for everyone mainly Non Flusers.
I did make a post months ago about adding a side panel that can be hidden/toggled which you can add favorite FOLDERS and create specific folders to organize and easily access your drum kicks. Make it easier to grab or toggle through a folder with a prev next button once you choose 1 sample you can toggle that folder to easily find the kick you need. I had some great suggestions about 3months back. The current way of adding your own kick to Sublab is okay but Sublab doesnât remember the folder locations so you have to constantly locate the same folder each time you leave decide to try another kick. That is type painful. Need a prev next button and Sublab needs to remember the folder you imported your kick from. Add a side panel that can be compacted.
Weâre on it @BassHead2k2, weâve got a solution coming soon so hang in there.
please give us the ability to fine-tune the global pitch. either with hz, with cents, or both.
The only feature Iâm dying for is the ability to set parameter values using text (e.g. like Waves plugins where you double click the parameter to open the text box). I have OCD and waste waaaaay too much time trying to set parameters in Sublab. I know the value I want, but the resolution of the parameter sliders in the UI makes it near impossible to quickly select precise values.
Let us see the pitch envelope node points in cents, and have an option to snap to note. Provide the option to add additional node points beyond ADSR. Neither of these should be difficult to do, and itâs very frustrating that you havenât at least added them as options. Lots of people are not buying Sublab XL because of these limitations which make competitors like Kick2 much more attractive.
We have fine tune in SubLab XL and you can even type in the amount. I do get what you mean that you want semitones/cents as the control rather than percentages.
Iâve open up a bug/feature request and will have a look asap.
Thanks,
Gavin.
