I can use the beta in standalone but not as a VST or AU in Ableton which is where I’d really like to try it out.
That’s odd. Please confirm you have the Circle VST and AU files in the folders that Live is looking in. By default these are:
‘Circle2_VST.vst’ in Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>VST
‘Circle2_AU.component’ in Library>Audio>Plug-Ins>Components
I’m testing as well here and I think this is because the Ableton Preference ‘Use Audio Units’ option is off by default. After enabling that preference, the FutureAudioWorkshop object appears in the Plug-ins category. To get the Circle VST to appear, you have to enable (also off by default) the Ableton Preference ‘Use VST Plug-In System Folders’. (I’m using the Ableton 64-bit version.)
Do your other plugins behave in the same way?
