@kory we’re getting there…we thought Soft Plate was fixed and we tested but it might still have issues. Are you keeping an eye on the beta forum?
Yes, it was specifically stated
”Improved processor usage across DSP modules and fixed issues with high processor usage in the Vintage insert effect on certain processors.” - this is not what is happening in my experience.
I am also now noticing that some presets just are not putting out sounds?
Here is the video I grabbed of this issue, had to remote into my main PC as this plugin genuinely shreds my CPU on my laptop
I also verified that I am indeed on the latest beta.

Is this maybe a case where it needs to be tested on a wider range of machines before release? Like even if it was going to like 30-50% I wouldnt care as much.
We have a new build @kory….here is the windows download link:
@kory did you try the build at the link above and how does it work?
Just reinstalled my apologies for the delayed response.
happy to report all the presets I tried seem to work now
didnt try the vintage effects again, ill mess around with them next update.
Is there any update? Or should I just move on from Notes and call it a loss lol, its been well over a month with no improvement or response.
I am sad to say that due to not getting any updates in regards to this issue, and not seeing any improvements I have been refunded by FAW for my purchase of Notes. I really hope they are able to figure out the soft plate problem. I will be closing the issue and marking this as the solution because at this point this is the only valid solution I was provided. Thank you to Julia from FAW for responding quickly and being willing to help me in this case.
