We’ve got a new beta of Notes (1.1.2) for testing.
In this version we’ve changed the way you can apply grooves to chords on the chord edit panel. You can now take the groove from any chord palette and apply it to the one you’re working on.
-
Apply grooves from one palette to another on the chord edit panel, using the new “with groove from” menu
-
Undo/redo on the chord edit panel now works for more than one action, and Redo works again.
-
Fixed a bug where editing a chord’s timing with the Groove transformer edit popup didn’t apply the timing at all.
-
Fixed delay/reverb tails from the previous preset carrying over when you change presets.
-
Fixed the palette menu not highlighting the newly loaded palette when reopened.
-
Fixed a crash when previewing sounds with a mono audio output (e.g. a Bluetooth headset in call mode).
-
The dice in the top bar now shows different faces as it rolls, and lands on a new one each time.
-
Interface tweaks: the pack’s artwork now shows next to the palette name on the chord edit panel, and the MIDI file button has moved up beside the save/undo buttons, giving the piano roll more room.
-
Improved the display and editing of the midi notes and the playhead animation on the chords edit panel.
-
Improved plugin launch time and binary size.
If you can install, play around and report any bugs here, would be much appreciated.
Main thing to look out for is if any of your sounds or palettes don’t sound as you think they should… after that, processor usage.
