Please find the list of recent additions for inclusion in release 1.1.5 - Latch mode for reverse and ramp transformers. Just click the ā€˜ā€¦ā€™ and you can turn it on or off. - Following feedbackā€¦notes now detects what DAW you are in and then changes the way it allows you to edit midi to fit the DAW you are used to. This is a really big feature with lots of key commands etc so testing this thoroughly in the real world scenarios is very important! - Add automatic Serum 2, Decent Sampler and Sky keys instrument import. It doesnā€™t copy the instrument into Notes, it just creates an corresponding instrument file that links to the samples so no extra hard disk space taken up. Find it in the top right hand ā€˜ā€¦ā€™ menu of the instrument browser. - Fixed LFO waveform display. - Further improved interface performance. - New chord suggestion engine for the ā€œFrom scratchā€ pageā€¦now includes common chord progressions based on your session key and also our new chord ā€œRecipesā€ which are based on common style progressionsā€¦more on this later as you can create your in the future etc. - New features added to the chord editā€¦you can move notes around, add notes etc like in any DAW midi editor. Weā€™ve added scale quantize. - Rearrange the chords by dragging on the hand icon and moving a chord from slot to another in the palette. - Copy and paste groove timing from one chord to another. - You can now preview instruments using the up/down arrow or by placing the mouse over the instrument title. - Preview chord progressions and recipes. - Improved Strum transformer with full edit mode. - Lots of small interface improvementsā€¦ - Also on the website, you can now clear activation slots and also assign codes to your account that you might have bought somewhere else. Nice, yā€™all already refunded me for it a month or two ago but Iā€™ll check in with a friend who has it to see if itā€™s worth picking up again. I really liked notes and it was such a shame that the performance was not able to be fixed :(( I also see itā€™s on sale for 29.99 now!! Will definitely be buying this again. ---

Late to the beta-party due to that pesky ā€œreal lifeā€ getting in the way, but as an early purchaser really happy to see that Notes is evolving. Downloaded and will play around some more. Happy to report that the performance issues with the ā€œSoft Plateā€ vintage effect are fixed! FAW is goated! I really tried to get it to shred my CPU and couldnā€™t.
