# Any idea why I might be getting random clicks and pops on the sublabXL plugin?

I’m on a mac Big Sur, with the latest update of Ableton, and the latest update of sublabxl.
Sublab keeps clicking and popping randomly. Definitely not sample rate or buffer issue either.

Hey @analogman,
Is there anyway you can do a screen video of what is happening. I’m pretty much sure that if I see SubLab XL and the midi I will know right away what is the issue.

I can tell you the patch. It’s triangle sub moog. It only clicks on the attack sometimes.

I have narrowed it down to the actual sample used in the preset ‘Subby-Saw\_Waveform’ .
It is a looping sample, but it looks like it starts and ends at the zero crossing point, which you would expect to not have an artifacts.
Not sure what is going on here, but it loops seamlessly in Audacity.

If you set the loop start point like I have in the attached Image it seems to behave better, but there are still artifacts, like the pulsing/beating of the waveform that can be noticed.
